CT Toys Thor | Official Collectible Action Figure
We designed this CT Toys Thor figure to capture the Asgardian warrior at his most powerful. Standing at 6.5 inches with over 30 points of articulation, this premium collectible features screen-accurate armor detailing, a fabric cape with wire posing support, and interchangeable hands for dynamic display options.
Every sculpted element — from the winged helmet to the chainmail texture on his torso — reflects our commitment to authenticity. The metallic paint finish on Mjolnir adds weight to battle poses, while ball-jointed shoulders and hips let you recreate iconic scenes from the films and comics. This is the Thor that belongs at the center of your Marvel shelf.
What makes this Thor figure special

Articulation & Pose Range
We built over 30 points of articulation into this figure so you can nail every heroic stance. The double-jointed elbows and knees allow deep bends for crouching poses or mid-flight leaps, while the ball-hinged shoulders give you full overhead reach when positioning Mjolnir.
The ab-crunch joint and swivel waist let Thor twist into combat-ready stances, and the ankle rockers provide stable footing on any shelf or diorama base. Head articulation includes both ball joint and hinge, so you can tilt his gaze skyward during hammer-summoning poses or lock eyes with opponents at ground level.

Costume & Sculpt Details
Our sculpting team referenced multiple film appearances to nail the balance between classic comic design and cinematic realism. The winged helmet sits securely without restricting neck movement, and the sculpted hair flowing from beneath adds dimension to profile shots.
Chainmail texture covers the torso and upper arms, with individually sculpted circular discs creating authentic depth. The armored plates on his chest, forearms, and shins feature engraved Asgardian patterns, and we applied a metallic wash to highlight every edge and rivet. The red cape uses a blend of cotton and synthetic fibers with a thin wire sewn along the border, so it holds dramatic windswept shapes without sagging over time.
Accessories & Display Options
Mjolnir & Interchangeable Hands
The hammer measures 2.2 inches from head to pommel and features a sculpted leather-look strap that loops through Thor’s right fist when using the dedicated hammer-grip hand. We cast Mjolnir in solid plastic with a steel-effect paint job and black weathering along the striking surfaces.
Three pairs of hands swap easily at the wrist peg: closed fists for unarmed combat, relaxed open palms for summoning lightning, and the specialized grip hand. Each hand clicks into place with a firm hold, and the pegs resist loosening even after repeated swaps. The articulation system we developed for our entire hero lineup — shared with figures like the armored Avenger in gold and red — ensures consistent posing across your display shelf.

Questions About the CT Toys Thor Figure?
Our Thor stands 6.5 inches tall, which places him in the 1:12 collector scale (sometimes called 6-inch scale). He’s designed to display alongside other modern Marvel Legends, Hasbro, and similar premium lines. The proportions match comic-accurate height, so he’ll look natural next to Iron Man, Captain America, and other Avengers in your collection.
If you’re mixing brands, check the manufacturer’s listed scale rather than raw height, since some characters are intentionally taller or shorter. Thor’s base-to-head measurement without the helmet is 6.25 inches, and the winged helmet adds another quarter-inch.
The cape attaches via two small fabric loops that slide over pegs on Thor’s upper back, just below the shoulder blades. You can remove it by gently lifting the loops off the pegs, which is useful if you want to display him in a different costume version or photograph the back armor detail.
The wire sewn into the cape border will hold its shape even when removed, so you can drape it separately as a backdrop element. Reattaching is simple: align the loops with the pegs and press down until you feel them click into place. The fabric won’t tear under normal use.
Warm the wrist socket slightly with a hairdryer on low heat for about 10 seconds to soften the plastic, then pull the hand straight out with gentle, steady pressure. The peg should slide free without force. If it resists, apply a bit more heat and wiggle the hand side to side while pulling.
To attach a new hand, align the peg hole with the wrist ball joint and push straight in until it clicks. The peg is designed with a slight taper, so it will only fit one way. Avoid twisting while inserting, as that can stress the joint. We reinforce the pegs with ABS plastic, but warming before each swap extends their lifespan.
This figure does not include a dedicated display stand in the box. The wide foot sculpt and tight ankle joints provide stable freestanding support for most poses, including dynamic action stances. If you prefer elevated or mid-flight displays, standard 1:12 scale figure stands with waist or back clips will fit Thor’s proportions.
We designed the figure to work with most aftermarket acrylic risers and posing arms available from specialty retailers. The cape wire adds slight rear weight, so flight poses benefit from a stand clipped at the waist or under the arms. Ground-based poses rarely need additional support.
Mjolnir is a separate accessory, not permanently attached to any hand. The leather-look strap is molded onto the hammer handle, and it threads through the closed fist of the dedicated hammer-grip hand. You slide the strap loop over the thumb and settle the handle into the palm groove, where friction holds it securely.
You can also pose Mjolnir resting on the ground next to Thor, held in an open palm, or displayed separately. The hammer measures 2.2 inches long and weighs about 0.3 ounces, so it won’t pull the arm down even in extended overhead poses. The strap does not detach from the hammer handle.
Start by shaping the cape with both hands, bending the wire border into a flowing curve that sweeps to one side or billows behind Thor’s back. The wire holds memory, so adjust it incrementally rather than forcing sharp bends that could crease the fabric.
For a classic heroic landing pose, drape the cape over Thor’s left shoulder and let it flow down his back with a gentle S-curve. For flight poses, bend the wire into a horizontal fan shape and position the cape as if wind is pushing it forward. Avoid kinks near the shoulder attachment points, as those areas see the most stress during posing. The fabric relaxes over 24 hours, so expect minor settling after initial positioning.
Our manufacturing partners inspect every figure before packaging, but we’ve received occasional reports of minor paint inconsistencies — usually small smudges on the leg armor or cape hem — in fewer than 2% of units. These don’t affect articulation or structural integrity, and most are only visible under close inspection.
If you receive a figure with a defect that impacts display quality, contact our support team with photos and your purchase receipt. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund within 30 days of purchase. Tight joints out of the box are intentional and designed to loosen slightly with use, so warm them before first posing rather than forcing movement.
