We designed this 6-inch scale collector piece with 32 points of articulation, holographic web-cape effect parts, and swappable hands to recreate every classic pose from the Beyond era comics and recent animated appearances.
Our sculpt team studied costume references from both the original Peter David run and contemporary interpretations to deliver screen-accurate proportions, from the skull-spider chest emblem to the spiked forearm talons. Each figure ships in premium window-box packaging with a buildable diorama backdrop piece.

Articulation & poseability engineered for display
We built the CT Toys Spider-Man 2099 on our advanced Spider-Verse body chassis, the same skeleton that powers our Miles Morales figure with its award-winning range of motion. Double-jointed elbows and knees let you nail Miguel’s acrobatic wall-crawling stances, while ball-socket hips and ankle rockers provide the stability needed for one-legged dynamic poses.
The ab-crunch joint is our deepest yet at 45 degrees forward flex, essential for recreating the hunched, predatory crouch O’Hara uses when stalking rooftops. Butterfly shoulder joints add 30 degrees of lateral movement so the figure’s arms can cross the chest for that signature web-slinging launch pose without the shoulders popping out of socket.
Costume sculpt & paint applications
Every detail of Miguel’s suit is sculpted in relief rather than simply printed — you’ll feel the raised webbing texture across the torso, the individual spikes on the forearm talons, and the dimensionality of the skull-spider chest emblem. Our paint team uses a five-layer process: base red, gradient fade to blue at the extremities, black web-line tampo, metallic silver highlights on the talons and eyes, then a final matte sealant coat.
The mask features our new photo-real eye printing technology, capturing the menacing red glow of Miguel’s lenses with a subtle gradient that darkens toward the edges. We avoided the flat solid-color eyes common in lower-tier figures because they lose the character’s intensity under display lighting.

Holographic web-cape effect piece
The standout accessory is the translucent blue holographic web-cape, molded in soft PVC with an internal poseable wire armature. You can flare it wide for gliding poses or wrap it tight around the shoulders for a streamlined look. The cape attaches via two small pegs on the figure’s shoulder blades and removes cleanly without leaving marks.
Swappable hands & alternate cape
Three pairs of hands swap at the wrist via ball-peg joints: relaxed fists for standing poses, web-shooting gesture hands with extended index and pinky fingers, and splayed wall-crawling hands with all fingers spread. We also include a fabric web-cape cut from the same material we use on our classic CT Toys Spider-Man figure for collectors who prefer the original comic appearance over the holographic modern interpretation.

Yes, our 6-inch scale matches industry-standard Marvel Legends sizing. The figure stands 6.1 inches tall and uses the same 5mm peg standard for alternate hands and effect accessories, so he’ll fit right into displays with Legends, Mafex, or other premium 6-inch lines.
The diorama base segment is CT Toys-specific because it’s designed to connect with other segments from our Spider-Verse wave, but the figure itself will stand on any standard flight stand with a crotch grip or waist clamp.
The cape uses two friction-fit pegs that slot into holes on the figure’s shoulder blades. We tested the connection with hundreds of pose changes during development and it holds securely in all positions except extreme backward bends where the shoulders compress.
If you’re doing a deep backward arch pose for a wall-crawling display, we recommend using the fabric cape instead since it drapes naturally without pegs. The holographic cape works best for forward-leaning or neutral standing poses.
We currently sell diorama segments only as part of figure packages to ensure every collector building the full skyline has a fair shot at completing it. Once the Spider-Verse wave fully releases, we’ll evaluate offering expansion packs based on demand.
Each of the six figures in this wave includes one unique base segment, so collecting all six characters automatically gives you a complete 24-inch rooftop display.
This is our first Spider-Man 2099 release — you may be thinking of our Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse wave which included a different Miguel costume based on the animated movie design. That version had a darker blue-black suit and different web pattern.
This new figure is based on the classic comic and recent game appearances with the brighter red-to-blue gradient and holographic cape from the Beyond Corporation era storyline.
The holographic cape is slightly larger with a 4.5-inch wingspan when fully spread because the wire armature needs extra material to look natural when posed. The fabric cape is 3.8 inches at full drape since it relies on gravity to shape itself rather than wire posing.
Both capes use the same shoulder peg attachment system, so you can swap between them in under ten seconds without tools.
We’re planning a white-suit variant for our next Spider-Verse expansion wave, based on Miguel’s appearance in recent multiverse storylines. That release will include different accessories tailored to that costume’s specific look — likely energy blade effects instead of the web-cape.
Our product roadmap also includes a possible unmasked Miguel head sculpt as part of a deluxe two-pack, but that’s still in the concept phase and not confirmed for production yet.
This is a premium collector figure designed for ages 15 and up due to small parts and the level of care required for the accessories. The holographic cape wire and swappable hands are not intended for rough play — they’re display pieces meant for adult collectors and older teens who understand handling delicate articulated figures.
