CT Toys Captain America – Premium Collectible Marvel Figure
Our Captain America figure captures Steve Rogers at his most iconic – shield raised, ready to lead the Avengers into battle. Standing 12 inches tall with over 30 points of articulation, this collectible brings the First Avenger to life with hand-painted details that honor decades of Marvel history.
Every element, from the star on his chest to the weathered texture of his boots, reflects our commitment to screen-accurate design. We sculpted this piece for collectors who demand authenticity – fans who know the difference between a display piece and a true museum-grade replica.
Sculpt & articulation details

Sculpt Accuracy & Paint Application
We referenced over 200 stills from The Avengers films to nail every contour of Cap’s helmet, every seam in his uniform. The facial sculpt captures Chris Evans’ determined expression without veering into caricature – a balance our sculptors spent months perfecting.
The paint work separates display-shelf figures from true collectibles. Our seven-layer process starts with a primer coat, builds through base colors and shadow washes, then finishes with dry-brush highlights on the shield’s metal rim and selective weathering on knee pads. Each figure passes through three quality-control checkpoints before packaging.

Articulation & Posing Range
Joint Engineering
Thirty-two points of articulation might sound excessive until you try posing a dynamic shield-throw. We engineered ball-and-socket shoulders with extended range specifically for overhead poses, while the ab-crunch joint lets you achieve that classic lunge stance from the elevator fight scene.
Double-jointed elbows and knees use our reinforced pin system – the same hardware that’s held up in our Marvel lineup for three years without loosening. Ankle rockers and toe joints give you stable museum poses even when the figure’s leaning into a sprint.
What’s Included in the Box
Beyond the figure itself, you’ll find six interchangeable hands – two fists, two relaxed palms, one shield-grip left hand, and one pointing right hand for leadership poses. The ungloved hands reveal sculpted knuckles and fingernails, a detail most manufacturers skip.
The display base measures 8 inches in diameter with a brushed-metal nameplate reading ‘STEVEN ROGERS – CAPTAIN AMERICA.’ A poseable support arm with adjustable clamp lets you create flying or leaping poses that defy gravity. We also include a two-page posing guide with photographed examples of twelve iconic stances from the films.

Captain America Figure Questions
This figure stands 12 inches tall in 1:6 scale, the collector-standard size that matches premium lines from Hot Toys and Sideshow. At this scale, Cap is accurately proportioned next to other CT Toys Marvel characters – Iron Man in his armor stands slightly taller while Black Widow is appropriately shorter.
The 1:6 scale gives us room for fine details like individual stitching on uniform pockets and realistic fabric drape that smaller scales can’t achieve. Display bases from other CT Toys figures will align perfectly when you build team setups.
The helmet is sculpted as part of the head and cannot be removed – this is a single head sculpt. We made this design choice because removable helmets on 1:6 scale figures often create visible seams across the face or require oversized heads to accommodate the mechanism.
The trade-off is exceptional helmet detail: we sculpted the chin strap, rivets, and A-wing panels as separate raised elements rather than paint, giving you a museum-quality piece without compromise. The facial expression beneath the helmet is fully sculpted as well, visible through the eye openings.
The shield body is molded from high-impact ABS plastic with a multi-layer metallic paint finish, while the star emblem in the center is die-cast metal for authentic weight and texture. This hybrid construction gives you the durability of plastic with the premium feel of metal where it matters most.
A fully metal shield would add significant cost and create balance issues during posing – the current design lets Cap hold the shield in extended poses without the arm joint sagging over time. The back features a magnetic mounting disc and a leather-textured hand strap molded in soft PVC.
You receive six interchangeable hands: two closed fists, two relaxed open palms, one left hand sculpted to grip the shield strap, and one right hand in a pointing gesture for leadership poses. Three hands are gloved to match the uniform, while three are ungloved showing sculpted skin texture.
Swapping hands takes five seconds – the wrist pegs use a ball-and-socket system that pulls straight out without tools. We include a spare pair of wrist pegs in case one gets lost, though the friction fit is tight enough that accidental drops are rare.
Three core differences set this apart: fabric costume construction instead of molded plastic, die-cast metal accents for premium weight, and over 30 articulation points versus the 15-20 found in mass-market figures. We also use a seven-layer paint process with hand-applied weathering rather than single-color spray applications.
The joints use reinforced pins that won’t loosen after repeated posing – a common failure point in budget figures. Our sculptors work from film stills and production references rather than comic art, ensuring screen accuracy down to the stitching pattern on Cap’s gloves. The packaging is designed for long-term storage with acid-free materials, not just shelf appeal.
Absolutely – the ankle joints and foot sculpts provide stable standing poses on flat surfaces without base support. The display base is optional and primarily useful for dynamic action poses where Cap is leaning, jumping, or shield-throwing.
The included support arm with adjustable clamp is what enables gravity-defying poses – you can suspend the figure mid-leap or create flying effects with the shield. For classic museum-pose collectors who prefer static standing stances, the base serves mainly as a nameplate platform rather than a necessity.
We design CT Toys figures as premium collectibles for ages 15 and up, not play toys. The articulation points and paint applications require careful handling – young children could easily snap a joint or chip the finish. Small accessories like the interchangeable hands present choking hazards for kids under three.
That said, teenage collectors who understand gentle handling will have no issues. The joints are durable enough for regular reposing as long as you don’t force anything. If you’re buying for a child under 12, we recommend our CT Toys Junior line instead, which uses simplified articulation and impact-resistant plastics designed for active play.
